Terry Hammons is the founder and principal of Tabono Ventures, a privately held investment and operating company built to acquire, own, and grow enduring businesses, real estate, and long-term strategic assets. His path to entrepreneurship was shaped by more than two decades as a senior public-company legal executive, where he guided Fortune 500 and publicly traded companies through complex mergers, acquisitions, securities, and operational matters at organizations including Albemarle Corporation, Simpson Manufacturing, and Sotera Health.

A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and the College of William & Mary, Terry was recognized by The Legal 500 GC Powerlist for his work at the intersection of law, strategy, and operations. That foundation taught him to read risk clearly, structure durable enterprises, and think in decades rather than quarters.

Today, Terry is a business owner, real estate investor, operator, and acquisition-minded entrepreneur. He is actively building Tabono Ventures and its portfolio, including HOMEstretch THT, a multi-location home services business serving Charlotte, Cleveland, the Washington, D.C. metro area, and the Phoenix West Valley. His focus is no longer the practice of law — it is the practice of finding exceptional people, building lasting businesses, and creating generational value through patient capital and long-term ownership.
